2] Visit city of Tipu Sultan Mysore.


Mysore is approx. 125 kms. away from Ooty. It takes approx. 6 hrs. to reach Mysore from Ooty. One can see all unmissable places of Mysore in just one day. Mysore Pak is very famous sweet of Mysore which one can get easily at every sweet store.

Places to visit :-

1)  Sri Chamarajendra Zoological Garden - It is approx. 4 kms. away from Mysore. This is a very big zoo. This zoo is full of different animals, birds and reptiles. Some of them are also endangered and found at only one or two places in India as well as in world. Some name of animals, birds as well as  reptiles found are owl, eagle, pheasant, lorikeet, fowl, macaw, cockatoo, lion, tiger, langur, macaques, zebra, hyena, deer, jackal, gaur, nilgai, civet, cat, porcupine, jaguar, bear, rhinocerous, python, chamaleon, viper, snake, lizard, cobra, wallaby, hippopotamus, crocodile, swan, turtle, emu, ostrich, giraffe etc.







2)  Brindavan Garden - This is a very beautiful garden. The garden is 24 kms. away from Mysore. The fountain with music and lightening is very famous. Boating facility is also there. It is divided into two parts. One is north and other is south. A walkway bridge is made connecting these parts.



There are many more important and ancient places as well but due to lack of time I was not able to see them all.
